No Cap & Trade Rally
On July 18th, West Virginians will gather in Charleston and Beckley, the heart of coal country, to express their support for coal and protest the Cap and Trade legislation currently making its way through the United States Senate.
West Virginia Red along with the West Virginia Conservative Foundation will work to provide you with the most up-to-date information on these events. For now, here are the details for the event.
WHAT: Say NO to Cap and Trade Rally
WHERE: State Capitol, Charleston, WV and Raleigh County Armory, Beckley, WV
WHEN: Saturday, July 18, 2009 – Time to be announced
WHO: West Virginians for Coal/Against Cap and Trade
These events are open to everyone who supports the coal industry and mining families. Each event will feature music and speakers who will address how important coal is to the livelihood of West Virginia.
